The document was signed by Dmitry Afanasyev, Chairman of the Board of the NAS Association, and Edward Abdullazyanov, Rector of KSPEU.
The partnership addresses one of the industry’s most pressing problems — supplying it with highly qualified engineers. With its strong technical base and long experience of training specialists for the power industry and adjacent sectors, KSPEU will become a key site for growing a new generation of experts in autonomous systems.
The main aims of the agreement:
• Designing and delivering practice-oriented educational programmes, including continuing professional education, targeted training, work placements and internships for students and postgraduates at the member and partner companies of the NAS Association.
• Joint applied research and development work on the industry’s real technological challenges.
• Commercialising the university’s innovations and bringing them to market through the NAS network.
• Joint events for exchanging knowledge between academia and industry.
The agreement creates a direct channel between the educational process and the needs of the market, giving KSPEU graduates not only sound theory but also the practical skills the industry’s leading companies look for.
The initiative is an important element in delivering the national strategy for the development of autonomous systems through to 2036 and contributes directly to strengthening Russia’s technological sovereignty.
