The document, signed by SakhSU acting rector Alexey Ognev and NAS Association Chairman of the Board Dmitry Afanasyev, aims to strengthen ties between the academic community and industry. The main goals of the partnership are advancing scientific research, commercialising developments and systematically training personnel for high-tech industries.

The parties agreed to jointly:

  • initiate research and development in priority areas (UAS, uncrewed transport, industrial robotics, AI),
  • develop continuing-education programmes, internships and targeted training,
  • organise joint conferences, forums and demonstration events,
  • exchange analytics and expert assessments.

Of particular importance is the opportunity for SakhSU students and postgraduates to complete internships and placements at the enterprises that are members and partners of the NAS Association, ensuring that educational programmes translate directly into market needs.

«Technological sovereignty is impossible without the triad of “science — education — production”. SakhSU is a key intellectual centre of the Far East, and we are glad it is becoming part of our industry ecosystem», Dmitry Afanasyev emphasised.

The agreement is a framework document, involves no financial obligations and is valid for 3 years with the possibility of extension.
